SiMoN was born in Osaka, Japan, in 1977. He started playing piano when he was eight. After discovering alternative rock in his teens, he played in numerous bands before embarking on a solo career in 2004.
In the past eight years he has played over 900 shows in Europe, Canada, USA(Culture Collide Festival 2013,2014), China, Thailand, Japan(RISING SUN ROCK FESTIVAL 2017 in EZO) and South Korea(Zandari Festa 2017). He has released nine albums and 1 EPs, as well as greatest hits albums in Japan.
SiMoN has shared stages with artists like Fun. Phoenix, Dinosaur Jr.,Cloud Nothings, Clap Your Hands Say Yeah, Nina Persson(The Cardigans), Laetitia Sadier(Stereolab), The Raveonettes,Rhye, De Lux, Beat Connection, Rob Crow(Pinback), Chateau Marmont...
Since April 2016, SiMoN has been based in Osaka, Japan. He loves to read books, watch films, listen to music and cooking.

1977年大阪府出身のシンガーソングライター。 国立音楽院卒業後(ボーカル、ギター、ドラム専攻)、ソロ活動と並行して ツインギター、ドラムの3ピースインストバンドWON?(ウォン)でドラムを担当、 about tess、blgtzのツアーサポートをドラマーとして勤める。
2004年より下北沢駅前にて路上ライブを年間300日行い、 自主制作のCDR「fantastic boy」を1500枚完売。
これまでに1枚のEP、9枚のフルアルバムをリリース。 日本(RISING SUN ROCK FESTIVAL 2017 in EZO 出演)、アメリカ(Culture Collide Festival 2013、2014出演)、 フランス、ドイツ、カナダ、中国、韓国(Zandari Festa 2017 出演)、タイでリリースツアーを行う。
